Family Childcare Network is a platform that connects families with licensed family childcare providers and offers tools for managing childcare relationships. We also provide white-label solutions for organizations.

3. User Accounts

Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• One person may not maintain more than one account

Provider Verification

Childcare providers must undergo our verification process, including background checks, license verification, and reference checks before being approved to use our platform.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to solicit unlawful activity
• Post false, inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers

5. Content and Intellectual Property

User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on our platform. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display that content in connection with our service.

Platform Content

Our platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Family Childcare Network and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other laws.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

7. Safety and Background Checks

While we conduct background checks and verification processes for providers, we are not responsible for the actions of users. Parents are ultimately responsible for their own due diligence when selecting childcare providers.

8. Payment Terms

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We may change our pricing with 30 days' notice
• You are responsible for paying all applicable taxes

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time through your account settings.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Our service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Family Childcare Network from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New York State, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New York.
